In this video, we will provide some understanding of social development in children with ADHD. It will include important strategies on how to meet your child's needs specifically during long periods of social isolation, and maintain a healthy relationship and lifestyle.

We cover and share resources, tools, and strategies that are recommended by leading experts in the ADHD field and that have been used by thousands of families to help aid both parents and kids living with ADHD. These tips can prove key to continuing your child's social, psychological, and intellectual development during a very turbulent time.

My team and I have researched extensively to provide parents, teachers, caregivers and families with helpful tools and strategies during this crisis. This video covers how social distancing and the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic can have an effect on children, especially those with ADHD.

This video is specifically about using select strategies to combat the negative effects of social isolation, as well as covering the following:

- The exaggerated impact of the coronavirus COVID 19 pandemic on children and adolescents

- How communication and behavior look different for a child with ADHD

- Building and keeping successful relationships with parents and friends

- How social anxiety can hinder the day to day life of a child with ADHD

We'll also be covering the crucially combined effects of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and child social distancing, as well as how to avoid anxiety and signs of depression with fun and engaging ideas involving:

- peer groups

- FaceTime and Houseparty (the app)

- Picking up hobbies

-Staying mentally and physically active

- Finding creative new ways to have fun while staying safe
